Ego Development,
Character Development, & Wholeness
״The Otter & The Owl״
In this upcoming book, I am re-exploring values and character development. It always struck me as a miss in developmental theories that character was not part of the equation. In my experience since childhood, there are good people at all stages and not so admirable ones who can argue at very late stages of cognitive development, but who do not embody what they preach. Indeed, narcissism and ego-inflation can be drivers all the way up. Even into spiritual strivings.
There are gifts hidden in this book for readers. Those are my artworks. Not only do the illustrations bring the story to life, they also contribute to the larger narrative.
"Embracing Wholeness in Diversity: Towards Thriving Human Futures"
Susanne Cook-Greuter wrote a chapter in this upcoming book particularly relevant for leaders, educators, coaches, and change agents working across cultural divides.
But this is not a book of simplistic solutions. Instead, it invites readers on a transformative journey—one that embraces complexity, fosters deeper understanding, and envisions diversity as a catalyst for collective evolution rather than a source of division.
The co-authors and editors have a bold vision for this book, and need your support. Your contribution will help making publishing this book a reality. The campaign is managed by Pacific Integral.

Ego Development:
Theory and Its Applications

"Urban Hub 32 - Integral Africa: Thriveable Cities"
An integral Africa is a dream, as is an integral world: and integral Africans are alive and living their work , and our hope is to gather them to share their work so others may find more resourceful and regenerative ways to live together in this planet who keeps giving. No one vision is sufficient in and of itself – visions can guide but only by collaborative action in a creative generative process can visions grow and become part of an ongoing positive sociocultural reality Without taking into account the many worldviews that currently co-exist and crafting ways of including them in a positive and healthy form we will continue to alienate vast sections of all communities and humankind.

"Creativity, Spirituality, and Transcendence"
This book, created by an interdisciplinary team, offers fresh perspectives on creativity, spirituality, and transcendence in adulthood. It explores these themes from theoretical, experimental, and clinical angles, aiming at academic, clinical, and reflective audiences. Unlike the dominant cognitive trend in creativity research that seeks rational and biological explanations for human phenomena, these essays give consideration to the power of extraordinary sources of inspiration. The collection challenges readers to rethink what it means to be a creative adult pursuing integrity and wisdom in the 21st century.

"Transcendence and Mature Thought in Adulthood"
This book is one of the very first to concentrate upon positive growth and development in the more advanced years of life. Incorporating both traditional Western paths of development and Eastern, meditative approaches, and both theoretical and empirical material, the contributors explore the many paths to postformal and postconventional development. They challenge the field of psychology to reconsider some of its most fundamental premises concerning how people change and develop over the course of their lives, including many of its conventional metaphysical and ontological assumptions; and they challenge the reader to actively continue his or her own growth process.

"Postautonomous Ego Development: A Study of Its Nature and Measurement"
This is a seminal work that extends Jane Loevinger’s ego development theory by exploring the rarely studied post-conventional stages of adult growth. Focusing on what I call “postautonomous” stages, I investigate how individuals make meaning beyond conventional societal norms, emphasizing self-transcendence, integration of paradox, and a shift from ego-centered to world-centered perspectives. The book introduces the SCTi-MAP (Sentence Completion Test - Maturity Assessment Profile) as a tool to empirically measure these advanced stages, and offers rich qualitative descriptions of their characteristics. It combines theoretical analysis, empirical research, and clinical insights to map the terrain of mature adult development, providing a groundbreaking framework for understanding the highest reaches of psychological and spiritual growth.
