Ron Stewart is a former educator and now a developmental consultant who works both in North America and Japan. He lives near Portland, Oregon, and can be reached at 503-665-8733 or at devconsult@verizon.net. Trained for the pastoral ministry, Ron gravitated to education after two years teaching in the Peace Corps in the late 1960s. Most of his career in education was devoted to pioneering Montessori education at the high school level, punctuated by teaching adjunct university courses relating to education and human development. His current guiding interest is the relationship between adult development, particularly higher development and spirituality. Ron is certified for assessment and coaching in four distinct aspects or lines of adult development: · Ego development · Postformal dialectical or integrative thinking · Intercultural sensitivity · Spiritual intelligence He was in the first cohort of scorers in the U.S. certified by Susann Cook-Greuter to administer and interpret the SCTi-MAP. |
